Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian mockumentary television series created and directed by Mike Clattenburg. The show is about a group of trailer park residents, some of them being ex-convicts that are living in a fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.
The episodes are based on the residents Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles trying to make money by committing petty crime while dodging the authorities. The park’s alcoholic supervisor Jim Lahey and his assistant and partner Randy are always complicating their schemes.
Throughout the series, Ricky and Julian end up in and out of jail, with most of their schemes resulting in failure, however each season ends up with them succeeding only for the next season to have them explain how everything went wrong.
This scene of Ricky getting shot has heavily inspired me for my cutaway scenes as I was originally going to have them filmed which the camera on tripods but seeing how this looks to have them partly freehand as it would make it look like it was from someone point of view which could look better.
