Angry Boys is an Australian TV rockumentary series written by and starring Chris Lilley, it continues the style from his previous series. In this show Lilley plays plays multiple characters: S.mouse, an American rapper, Jen, Blake Oakfield, Ruth Sims, a guard at a detention facility and her teenage grandsons and Australian characters twins Daniel and Nathan Sims.
I chose to research into this because I really like the soundtracks and the fact that it’s a comedy. My FMP is going to be driven on making the audience laugh which the cutaways to things that the interviewees are talking about. I decided to look at some scenes that were funny and some of the soundtracks to see there is anything that could inspire me for my film
I like this soundtrack as I think I could use it during the cutaways. I could see it working nicely over the scene. I’m not having any talking or sound in the film, just music and have the voice from the interview over the music as well.
You can see that comedy is vital to keeping the audience interested. I want to achieve this same thing in my film which is why I picked Charlie and Troy as I know they can keep the audience interested by being funny and giving interesting.
