Jonah from Tonga is an Australian TV sitcom that is written by starring Chris Lilley. The mockumentary series follows Jonah Takalua, a troublesome 14-year-old who had been introduced in Lilley’s 2007 series Summer Heights High. In the show, his father, Rocky Takalua, has sent him back to his homeland of Tonga to live with uncle and their family in order to get his life back together.

As you can see in this 30 min compilation, Jonah and his friends will occasionally speak to the camera in an interview style scene, I will take inspiration from this show and use some of this in my film. Jonah and his friends occasionally break the 4th wall by talking through the camera to the audience.
I also really like this soundtrack from the title sequence. I could use it at the introductory stage of the film or for end credit. I like that because it’s a relaxed tune and it matches the theme of my film.
