This week was used to mainly collect test shots and see what the film could look like. This session allowed me to experiment and possibly improve any shots or methods of filming. Me and Charlie went to the photography room and filmed a test film of one of his questions. I filmed his close up’s as well and edited them in Premiere. I slowed them down and added the question headers over the shot. I went onto YouTube and download the soundtrack I’m going to use for my film.
I found that the white background might be a bit too bright for the camera, as there is nothing going on in the background.
I also managed to look at the possible soundtracks that I could use. I settled however on Hollywood Swinging by Kool and the Gang.
This soundtrack is used in Teammates 2.0 for the majority of the interviews. I really like this one as it is upbeat but not too fast paced. It has a positive vibe about it that matches with what style I’m going for.
This week I decided to not do the idea where I would have games to play with Charlie an Troy due to only me and Charlie being heavily into football. Also the idea didn’t really feel substantial to be a full FMP film.
