For my interview subjects I picked Charlie and Troy because they’re both funny and can give good answers. This proved to be a good decision as both of the interviews came out very well.
With Troy he was very good at making jokes and talking about different members of the class as he is friends with everyone so it wasn’t hard and I didn’t have to give him much direction because he naturally fitted the role I could just let him say pretty much whatever he wanted about the topic I gave him.
Charlie was the same, his interview turned out very well. Charlie is known for being quite loud and having a lot of energy so he was a perfect choice and I let him say whatever he wanted as well. I also gave him that Uno question because I knew he would go over the top even though it’s just a game.
I knew I could rely on Michaela, Annabelle, Freya and Charlotte to fill the cutaways and they did a great job.
I even used Fay for a quick scene with Charlie being late and she did good as well.
I knew that I wanted Charlotte and Rory to fight over the chair with wheels as I felt like them two would make it very funny and I was proven right.
I also knew that Rory and his tendency to leave the class at random times would play a good part of my film and he did a great job at re-enacting it also when we went through his outfit he did a great job at that as well and was very easy to work with.
