Different Styles of Interview

When Fay watched my film we spoke about the different ways I could have my interview set up. I had settled on having all of Troy’s interview first, and then Charlie’s after. Fay suggested that I should have one of Troy’s questions first, then switch to Charlie and have them keep switching between them.

I considered the idea but I didn’t end up doing it because looking at the footage, particularly Charlie, it makes more sense if they are separate. As two of Charlie’s answers are about Rory and he refers to the fact that he had previously mentioned Rory, this wouldn’t work if the answers were merged together.

Also even though I had filmed which two cameras, one on the subject, and one of both of us. I had only used the shot on the subject as the focus was mainly on them. However Fay suggested that because you hear me talk throughout the film, there should be a shot to establish that I am there. So I changed to establish that I am there and the film looked a lot better after I made the change.
