Half Term work

I came in during the half term to complete some work. My film was pretty much completed so I focused on smoothing out the edges. I primarily made the remaining titles and fixed the sound issues. Some sound levels were too low which needed to be changed. I also got some feedback from others that were in the class. They all said it was very good and humorous which is good because it’s want I was going for. They said the shot composition was really good and the cutaways were very nicely done.

Fay wasn’t in on the Wednesday so I had to get feedback from peers and wait until the Thursday.

When I spoke to Fay she said that I need to film a couple more scenes to fill in. For example the part where Troy says Charlotte is the wheely-chair hogger, he begins by saying Charlotte’s name but the following shot is a shot of Rory. The problem was that we as a class all know who Charlotte is, but people watching it who do not know the class may think Charlotte is Rory as we see him first. So to solve this I got Charlotte and we shot some quick filler scenes where I had her looking through the window at Rory, just to establish who Charlotte is.

The same went for the scene with the Uno cards where Charlie said Charlotte is the best and Uno but the following shot shows Annabelle so people might think Annabelle is Charlotte. So I got a shot of Charlotte as if she was looking at the other players.
