Problem Solving

I ran into a few problems when making my film. I had planned to film with Charlie in the photography room however once I looked back at the footage I found that the shots were out of focus. This was annoying as I could only use the photography room one time. So to solve this I had to relocate to the edit suite, where we reshot and I made sure the footage was in focus.

However the sound in that room wasn’t as good as the TV studio which resulted in the audio being quite quiet. Luckily there was an easy fix as I could raise the sound levels in Adobe Auction.

Also the windows let in a lot of sunlight which resulted in my shot being quite dark because the camera couldn’t focus properly. I managed to make it look better in postproduction but only so much as raising the light levels make the shot look quite grainy but it wasn’t too bad.

Also it was quite hard to find a nice background for Charlie to sit across so I had to settle for what was available, it didn’t look too bad but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted as I wanted a clear background but I managed to make it work.
