Even though my film turned out great there’s still a couple things I feel like I could work on. I feel like Troy’s interview was fine but Charlie is on the other hand, could have some improvement.
The composition, background, and even sound to a degree could be a little better. The sound was easily fixed but the background should’ve been clearer. I could’ve maybe repositioned Charlie so the background was one solid colour because it’s a mix of two. It doesn’t look so bad in the grand scheme of things but it should still be one solid colour.
With the close-up on Charlie you can see a bit of my shoulder to the right hand side which isn’t right because it was meant to just be Charlie, it’s not horrendous but it still shouldn’t be there
Even though the cutaways are good, for some of them I could’ve shot a little bit more. Particularly Uno one. I only have shots of everyone putting a card down and then Charlotte throwing the cards at everybody else as she wins. Maybe I could’ve had them play a little game before Charlotte wins to build it up.
With Rory’s outfit, I could’ve had him in different locations to keep it new because I pretty much just pan him from head to toe, with some shots in between.
With Charlie’s interview even though I had to relocate, I could’ve relocated somewhere with less natural sunlight because I had to end up raising the light levels in post production which didn’t ended up looking too bad but it still could’ve been avoided.
