Even though I used two cameras to film, one of me and the interviewee, and one close-up of just the interviewee. I primarily stuck with the close up because the interview was mainly about them.
One common thing that everyone who watch my film said was that there is no establishing shot to establish that I’m there so they would recommend using a shot of me and interviewee.
Also it would make sense because during some of the answers I actually talk and give my own view so it wouldn’t look right if you could hear my voice but not see me so I went back and edit the clips of me when I talk to so who’s asking the questions.
In my test shots are used three cameras, one of me and interviewee, one close-up of the interviewee, and one close up on me. But I decided to get rid of the close up on me because even though I do give answers there not long enough to require a whole camera shot.
Once I went back and added the wide shot, it looked a lot better not just because you could see me but because the same shot over and over again can get boring and repetitive.
