Because I knew that audio is a very important part of a film, I decided to experiment with different transitions and effects on it. In my previous projects when I have the sound levels of any type of audio, such as soundtracks or speech, changing to a different level.
I would just let the audio suddenly drop or suddenly rise. This is because I didn’t know how to make the audio fade in of fade out.
So this is a quick video that I watched, that taught me how to fade audio. I used it whenever there wasn’t any speech, for example during the question headers.
It’s quite a simple but very effective technique that when done correctly, you can make your film sound a lot smoother.
