So for the first day of my film. I just focused on making Troy’s interview. Me and Troy headed into the film studio to do his interview, I set the cameras up and had Charlie assist me with the sound. Luckily I was able to Troy’s interview first time with no mistakes.
I had Troy up against the film studio curtain which was all black I also had to make sure I put the lights in the position where they couldn’t make a shadow that could be seen on the film. I used two lights, one on him and one on the both of us.
I simply had me and Troy sit down onto chairs next to each other where i would ask him the questions.
His answers were all spot-on and we then filmed the short questions background. Learning from my test shots I made sure that the sound had been recorded properly and that all the cameras were focused on the whole time as this is something that has hindered me in the past.
This was a smooth process that only took just over an hour to complete.
I was able to begin editing as soon as possible on the same day and I edited it so only thing I had to worry about was the cutaways which I plan to film later in the week or the following week.
Once the filming was done, I showed Fay and she was happy with it. So my plan for the next day, was to film Charlie’s interview.
