There were a number of locations but I could’ve used. When I first came up with my idea. I wanted both Charlie and Troy’s interview to be done in the photography room, as I thought that would be the most suitable location because it was set up like a filmset and I’ve seen in some interviews, the background is similar to a film set with tripods and other equipment in the background. Also there was lighting equipment that I could use to make sure the shot looks the best.
The main thing that made me want to use the photography room, was the fact that I had a choice of an all white or black background. I was planning to have each of them on one of the backgrounds because this would look professional.
However, I quickly found out that the photography students had priority when it came to filming in that room, due to it being their room. I managed to find a time I could use but the filming didn’t go to plan so I couldn’t use it anymore.
Everything turned out fine in the end, because I simply relocated to the film studio and the edit suite.
When I look back over the film in the new locations, everything looked fine and it wasn’t that big of a deal. This was good planning because I had a plan B in case something went wrong, in this case it did.
