Left and Right Sound Editing

For some reason, even though Troy and Charlie had filmed the sound for me very well, there was some issues when it came to editing on Adobe premiere. The first issue was with Charlie’s interview. Even though when you played back the sound recording from the zoom, The sound levels were very quiet for some reason. They were so quiet that even raising them in Adobe premiere didn’t raise them to the levels that I needed. So I had to turn to Adobe auction. Where you can raise the sound levels much higher.

The second issue popped up randomly with the whole film altogether. Up to that point everything was fine but then for some reason, the sound again only playing out of the right ear. There is a feature in Premier where you can direct the sound in either direction. I tried this but it didn’t work fully.

So I had to ask Fay for assistance, and she showed me a feature within the settings called ‘fill left with right’. This was within the audio effects feature. When I did this, in addition to raising overalls sound levels ,the sound was ok.
